Again, if you’re looking at a mobile solution for your computing needs you’ll be shelling out a crazy amount of money to get a dedicated GPU in the Macbook, and the Radeon Pro 555 and 555x are weak as all hell compared to Nvidia’s GPU’s, and for substantially less money. Even with the base 27 inch iMac, the 570 Pro in there is only around the performance of a 1060 and 1060ti. Cards that are middle of the road as far as both performance and price goes, and yet the iMac 27 inch retails for $1799, which is a lot of amount of money for one to be spending for a computer. And since most gamers either build PC or buy a console, that kind of pricing alienates a lot of consumers unless you’re a professional or just has a lot of money to throw at a personal computer. And the latter tends to not care so much about gaming. And truth be told, if you have a decent enough GPU, you can last a long as time without having to upgrade so long as you’re willing to start and make compromises in the last year or so of it’s life, i.e.
